Not long ago . . .

a (highly paid, vivacious) corporate VP of marketing lady decided after 20 years she'd had enough 15-18 hours days making other people rich . . .

about that time, a (wayward, pirate) TV and documentary producer adventurer dude decided after 20 years he needed to quit drinking . . .

she had worked mostly in multi-channel marketing and print . . .

he in adventure and corporate marketing videos . . .

they met while working on a mutual project for a mutual client; she was directing the talent and he was directing the shoot . . .

when she watched him edit her video, she exclaimed, "Look!  They're pictures!  And they move!"

and instantly they became friends . . .

it didn't take long for them to discover they had a mutual love for the Pacific Northwest, the sea, stories of lost gold mines, and above all, the most heavenly (and fat free) of breads: sourdough . . .

with little discussion, they combined their 20 years each of experience (that equals 40), bought a mining claim in the Superstition Mountains, acquired some sourdough starter and formed Sourdough Studios . . .

today, they provide boutique marketing and television production services to select clients from Scottsdale to Manila.
